Project Manager

Maximising your investment and delivering your projects and programmes on time and to cost and quality.

The role of project management is an essential part of any project, so it stands to reason that a Project Manager is an important aspect of the process. Project managers take responsibility for and oversee the planning and delivery of construction projects, ensuring work is completed on a realistic timescale and within budget. This involves leading a project team who delegate work and keep track of spending. They keep track of the budget against the actual spend, while identifying and raising any potential issues early in the process.

The role of a project manager is key to the success of the project. An organised project manager uses a combination of teamwork, effective communication, budget management and planning to push the project forward and make it a success.

Erimus Architectural Design and Build provide professional Project Managers to private clients, building developers, architects, Quantity Surveyors, contractors and sub-contractors. What is a Project Manager?

Project managers take the lead role in the planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing out of projects. They take responsibility for the entire project scope, the team, resources, budget and ultimately the success of the project.

They make sure your project is delivered on time and within budget, and must be competent in managing the six aspects of a project:

  • Scope
  • Schedule
  • Finance
  • Risk
  • Quality
  • Resources.

Project managers work on specific projects that have definite outcomes, time limits and must stay within a budget.
